Crisis workshops & crisis exercises

CRISIS WORKSHOPS and how they WORK

Crisis exercises and crisis workshops, are one of our most popular events for those new to crisis management.

We look at how a crisis differs from business as usual and the particular characteristics that constitute a crisis. We introduce your team to our proven crisis management concepts and techniques.

We then put these to the test using a case study and an engaging desktop exercise, allowing you to test your crisis response capability.

The scenario for the desktop exercise, written in conjunction with you, typically centres on strategic, operational and communications challenges and to add reality will often include television news broadcasts.

You will get an excellent insight into the robustness of your crisis response capability and the areas that need to be developed.

VALIDATE YOUR CRISIS PLAN

One of the best ways to validate a crisis plan and to test the roles and responsibilities of crisis team members is during a crisis workshop.

Working with you we devise a crisis scenario with stated aims and objectives that can test whether your plan and your team are fit for purpose.

Workshops are led by skilled facilitators from Crisis Solutions who make sure that discussions are kept on track and produce tangible results.

RUNNING YOUR OWN CRISIS EXERCISES

Some organisations prefer to run their own crisis exercises and crisis simulations, but are unsure how to add the reality of news and social media. We can help you with this by using our bespoke online crisis simulation portal Crisis Cloud.

DELIVERING THE DRAMA

You provide us with your scenario details, then we will write the news stories, film and make the news videos, write and pre-programme social media activity then hand the password protected website over to you. Crisis Cloud: it’s a crisis in a box.
