Planning your crisis response.

In a crisis people need sure-footed management.
It’s important that you don’t try and plan for everything - your response must be flexible - but your response should be encapsulated in a crisis management plan.

The plan should set out who is in charge, what the various roles and responsibilities are, how you are going to monitor the progress of actions and how to record decisions made.

Using this plan the Crisis Management Team might decide to deploy several tools at its disposal- including the disaster recovery plan, the business continuity plan and the crisis comms plan.
